The building of the "Movida Madrileña" is located in the neighborhood of Malasaña, in the heart of the capital: la calle Espíritu Santo nº 24.

In its streets were forged this movement crazy, creative, anarchic, which involved the creative explosion of the end of the 70s and early 80s, which is known as "La Movida Madrileña." 
 

In this building we recreate bits of that time in the form of pop decor: furniture "cool", vinyl turntable with integrated cd, posters and paintings.

Why call the building "La Movida"?

Malasaña, the neighborhood where la calle Espíritu Santo is situated, was and remains the bohemian neighborhood par excellence of Madrid. In its streets you can find ladies and gentlemen of 80 years or young twenties with pink hair.

The cultural and gastronomic offer in the area is almost unbeatable. You'll find classic restaurants "castizos" or the most avant-garde. Theaters hidden in beautiful streets...

Arriving at Barajas Airport:

If you  travel by plane, we recommend you to take the Metro (subway): Madrid´s Metro www.metromadrid.com is one of the most modern and fastest metros in the world. The connection to the center from the Madrid´s Barajas airport it is excellent and you will not find it very difficult to get to our apartments.
First you should take line 8 (pink line) towards Nuevos Ministerios station. Once there you will need to change to the Metro Line 10 (dark blue) and stop at Tribunal station. Our apartments are just  300m away.

Other station nearby is Noviciado Line 2 (red)

Atocha station:
You can take the metro, line 1 (blue) towards the station of Tribunal, Once there you are 300m away from our apartments.

Chamartin station:
Take line 10 (dark blue) and stop at Tribunal station, Once there you are 300m away from our apartments.

Arrivals by bus:


If you arrive at the station Alvaro Mendez:  Take the subway line 6 (Grey Line) to Pacifico station, there change to line 1 (blue line), stop at Tribunal station, our apartments are just 300m away.

If you arrive at the bus station on Avenida de America,  take Line 7 (orange), stop in Gregorio Marañon station and change to line 10 (dark blue), stop at Tribunal station, our apartments are just 300m away.
